From the ones who cannot provide to the ones who do not require

Two flags, Digital print on textile, 130 × 265 cm each, 2025

In "From the ones who cannot provide to the ones who do not require" the focus is on the tension between need, claim, and refusal. The statement appears both clear and enigmatic at the same time - opening up a field between scarcity and abundance, promise and withdrawal. Demirci does not use language here as a neutral means of communication, but as artistic material that shifts, fragments, and destabilizes meaning. The work invites us not only to reflect on the words themselves, but also on our own expectations of language. It is thus less a message than an invitation to think: What does it mean when language does not provide answers, but instead opens up uncertainties?
